The Day of the Lord: Exploring the "Day of the Lord" Theme Across Scripture
Few phrases in the Bible sound more ominous than "the Day of the Lord." This four-week Theology Thursday series traces that theme from the prophets into the New Testament. We'll look at what the Day of the Lord is, why a good God must judge evil, why Israel stands at the center of these events, and where it all leads: the return of the King.
We won't spend these four weeks building timelines or trying to explain every detail in Revelation. We'll be asking what these passages reveal about God, whose promises still stand and who is moving history toward Yeshua (Jesus).
God has not lost control of history.
